“Naturally Aliénor, I am the 3rd generation of wine-growers. In 2008, along with my husband, Jean Noel, who is also a wine-grower, we decided to
invest in Pessac-Léognan. We started with a “clean slate”, 21 hectares of woods in the AOC, now planted with vines. In 2012 we vinified our first vintage in a brand-new wine cellar. This birth, on an exceptional terroir, is already producing very beautiful results and even bigger hopes.”
The wines of Pessac-Léognan and particularly those of Château D’Alix, located on the deep gravely soil of the Graves region of France, are adorned with a ruby red robe and expressive nose, whose slightly woody notes mingle with red fruit aromas. On the palate, the supple attack is prolonged by fruity notes : cherry, stone fruits, and finishes on a balancing sweetness.
